Le Pensur (The Thinker)

Life Outside the Therapy Room

I believe therapy is most effective when it is anchored in a genuine, human relationship. While our sessions focus on your journey, I find that sharing a bit of who I am helps create a grounded and transparent space for our work together.

Like many of the people I work with, I’m also navigating the balance between focus and distraction, rest and productivity, depth and everyday life. That lived experience naturally shapes how I show up in the therapy room.

Hobbies

I enjoy music, a good tv show or film, chess and video-games (esp. OSRS and Dota 2); as well as going for walks in nature and taking time away from screens. These are ways I unwind, stay creative, and connect with a more playful side of life.

Connection

A lot of my time outside of work is spent with my family and friends.

I value these relationships deeply: they bring connection, grounding, and perspective, reminding me of what really matters in everyday life.

Learning

I spend a lot of time reading, writing, and reflecting; exploring ideas from psychology, philosophy, and everyday life. I’m naturally drawn to questions around meaning, behaviour, and how we make sense of our experiences.

MY PHILOSOPHY

An integrative approach rooted in warmth & the search for wisdom.

I believe that therapy is most effective when it is anchored in a safe, non-judgmental, and deeply human relationship. Drawing on my background in Psychology and Integrative Counselling, I work to create a grounded space where your experiences are met with genuine curiousity, warmth and understanding. Beyond clinical expertise, my work is informed by five years of experience in the helping professions, which has taught me that every individual carries their own innate wisdom.

Together, we move beyond just addressing struggles, focusing on cultivating the resilience and clarity you need to thrive in your life journey.
