My Approach to Therapy
With a Master’s in Counselling and a Bachelor's in Psychology, my therapeutic modality is integrative, which means I don’t believe in a "one size fits all" model. Instead, I draw on tools and philosophies tailored specifically to your unique narrative and goals.
In practice, this can look different from session to session. At times, we may focus on practical challenges such as anxiety, habits, or decision-making. At other times, we may take a step back and explore deeper patterns, past experiences, or questions about meaning and direction.
It all depends upon your needs, as well as what you decide to bring to the sessions.
Below, you can find a more detailed explanation of the process.
What to Expect in Sessions
01
15-Minute Consultation
A free 15-minute call to briefly discuss what brings you to therapy and see if we’re a good fit for working together.
02
We explore your current situation, background, and what you’d like to work on, and begin shaping a direction together.
Initial Assessment Session
03
Following our initial meeting, we move into regular sessions. These are dedicated to deepening self-understanding, exploring tools from integrative psychology, and building the resilience needed to move forward with wisdom.
Ongoing Sessions
Personal Values
I believe that you are the ultimate expert on your own life. My role is not to "fix" you, but to facilitate a process of self-exploration. I provide a safe, confidential hour each week where the focus is entirely on you. With empathy, curiosity, and gentle challenge, I will help you clear the clutter of daily stressors so you can reconnect with your own "inner well" of wisdom.
I work in a collaborative and non-directive way. You decide what feels important to explore, and we move at a pace that feels right for you. I may offer perspectives, questions, or ideas; sometimes drawing on psychology, philosophy, or metaphor... but always in service of your own process.
I am committed to walking alongside you with warmth, transparency, and a client-centered focus. We work entirely at your pace, focusing on mental health and wellbeing, and transforming current challenges into lasting opportunities for meaningful self-understanding and personal growth.
